Oval face
An oval face is balanced. Your chin is slightly narrower than your forehead and you have high cheekbones.
- The best sunglasses will have a square shape, like Kristen or Rachel from Polaroid Sunglasses.
- Ones that wrap around the face will show off cheekbones to their full potential.
- People with oval faces are lucky enough to be able to get away with most styles. Take your pick!

Heart-shaped face
A heart-shaped face typically has a wider forehead and high cheekbones which then tapers to a smaller chin.
- Avoid dark colours which may ‘cut up’ the line of the face – instead, opt for lighter shades, like the Carol's in brown.
- Hearts can suit both round and angular glasses as they contain both angular and round shapes.
- Create balance by selecting shades that widen out the rest of your face.
- Alternatively, accentuate the eyes with cat-eye shapes or more width in the top corners.

Square face
A square face has a strong jawline, a broad forehead and wide cheekbones.
- Oval and round frames like Swing from the Best under the sun heritage collection or Ninna from the Women's Premium collection will instantly soften your features.
- Avoid square or rectangular frames – these will only accentuate square angles.
- Try tortoise shell instead of black to stick with a softer look.

Round face
A lovely round face has very few angles and often the width of your face is equal to the length.
- Look for styles equal to or slightly wider than the broadest part of the face.
- Minimize the curves and add definition with more angular, rectangular styles (think Natasha or Miriam).
- Deep colours will minimize fullness, so try chocolate-browns or warm reds and pinks.
