A year in to her role as Art Director for Polaroid, Lady Gaga has surely come into her own as a developer of cool technical gadgets under the Polaroid Grey Label.  Polaroid Grey Label is a collaboration between two of the most influential icons of our time, Polaroid and Lady Gaga which has spawned three unique products that are both creative and fun; the Polaroid GL10 instant mobile printer, the Polaroid GL20 instant digital camera and as the Polaroid GL20 camera glasses.

The Polaroid GL20 camera glasses the first of their kind, are fashion, photography and technology combined in a never seen before hybrid.  These special glasses allow the user to instantly capture images of the world around them and immediately incorporate them into a unique fashion statement.  Users can take or upload photos and videos with the built-in camera and then display them on the glasses’ OLED screens for the world to see.

These exclusive sunglasses will be featured, for the first time to the optical world, at the Polaroid Eyewear booth at MIDO 2011 (March 4-6).   “We are in an exciting time for Polaroid,” said Jerry Dreifuss, Global Marketing Director of Polaroid Eyewear, “we are delighted to be a part of this collaboration among two cultural innovators that will introduce a piece never seen before.”   Polaroid is recognized as one of the best when it comes to innovative lens technology and fashion-forward trends. When asked why she developed these grey label products, Lady Gaga stated “These new products are going to embody all the things that my fans love about Lady Gaga and all of the things that everyone loves about Polaroid.”
